About the team
The electronics team is a diverse team with different and complementary competencies. We are responsible for all electronic systems, both on and off the car. This includes everything from the high voltage system that powers the car, to the low voltage system used for safety systems, data acquisition and other functions.
During the fall semester we have been working on designing the electrical systems for our 2026 car, and now it is time to make it become real! Being part of the electronics team means being part of a close knit group of students working towards the same goal, making the best racecar we can. We also like to have fun together by doing various activities throughout the whole year, join the electronics team to take part yourself!
Wire Harness
The wire harness is used to connect all the electrical systems together. Building the wire harness includes planning the wire routing, making connectors and installing the harness on the real racecar . Some additional tasks are electrical testing, troubleshooting and soldering. If you are a meticulous person and want to be part of a bigger project, this is the perfect role for you!
The following competencies are highly meritorious, but not necessary for the role:

Time required
The time expected for a team member to contribute each week is approximately 10 – 12h. The time is divided into workshops on Mondays and Wednesdays between 17:15 – 21:00, a weekly lunch meeting on Fridays and any additional time spent at other times. No working time is expected to be spent during exam periods!
Who we are looking for
We are looking for driven and enthusiastic new members to the team. We are not expecting that anyone knows what to do from the first workshop or fits all our criterias we are looking for. Of course it is meritorious to have previous experience with similar tasks but do not hesitate to apply for the team if you are a good team player, creative problem solver and want to learn new things.
