Team Leader Marketing

Are you interested in being part of the Leadership Group for next year’s project – ER26?

As a team leader you have several key responsibilities in which the majority are centered around your team:
The main focus is ensuring that the team achieves success within its area of expertise, it is also of importance that you ensure the members well-being. 

Other Responsibilities include:
Leading and actively participating in two workshops per week.
Participating in a leadership meeting once a week and arranging for any extra meetings with the team if needed. This includes a meeting on monday if you are TL for a technical team.
Participating in the strategic planning for both the team and leadership group throughout the project year.
Collaboration between the different teams amongst team leaders.
Responsibilities within the team include analyzing risks, establishing milestones, assessing progress and ensuring follow-ups.

The role of Marketing TL is creative and diverse and you will be working towards a variety of goals at a time. Your main responsibility will be to lead the work of the Marketing team forward and mainly work with promoting our organisation, towards both sponsors and potential members. 

During your work you will often be in contact with the other teams, especially the other non-technical teams who you work closely with during the year in different means.

In the start of the ER24 project, the event and marketing teams were put together, which means you will be responsible for the events in the organisation, mainly internally but also sometimes externally. This includes planning, organising and inviting our members, sponsors and others. This can include the organisational kickoffs, sittings and the roll-out, to name a few. 

The current goals is to expand the knowledge of the organisation, mainly by focusing on recruiting students from a variety of programs and faculties – like HR and economics as well as engineers. This means thinking outside the box and using different marketing techniques and approaches to reach the desired target group. We want to arrange more events for the organisation as this brings the team closer together and encourages building a good and healthy team spirit. 

As always, we also want to attract new sponsors as well as maintain the sponsorships we currently have. Therefore we continuously work with keeping our end of the contracts with things such as a newsletter and social media posts. 

In short, as the Marketing TL of LiU FS, you are in charge of the reputation of the organisation. You, together with your team, will undoubtedly have a lot of fun creating marketing materials. With the photographers’ help, you will fill our social media with exciting updates of the production and express gratitude towards our incredible members. 

I would recommend this role to anyone who would like to work creatively and have a lot of contact with other people. You will never be bored!
