The cost analysis group is responsible for evaluating the financial aspects of the project, including material costs, labor costs, and overall budget management.

Our team
Coordinating manufacturing, testing, and the workshop so the car is built on time and proven on track.
The Logistics team makes sure the car can be built, tested, and delivered on schedule. Acting as the bridge between the technical design teams and the physical build, they work closely with the LiU workshop, manage materials, fasteners, and tools, and review technical drawings with manufacturing in mind. The team is also responsible for calculating cost and carbon emissions through Life Cycle Assessment, compiling the Costed Carbonized Bill of Material for the Cost & Manufacturing event.
Once parts exist, Logistics takes over testing: planning and executing all on-track and rig testing, and designing the systems needed to test the car safely and effectively. Together, production and testing make sure the car arrives at competition proven, refined, and ready to perform.

The cost analysis group is responsible for evaluating the financial aspects of the project, including material costs, labor costs, and overall budget management.

The production engineers focus on the practical aspects of manufacturing, working closely with technical teams to ensure that designs are manufacturable and that production processes are efficient and effective.

The test engineers are responsible for planning and executing all testing activities, including track testing, data collection, and analysis to validate the car's performance and identify areas for improvement.

The CAD test engineers focus on designing and optimizing the components and systems that are critical for testing, ensuring they can be effectively manufactured and integrated into the car.
