We are a Formula Student team consisting of motivated students from various disciplines, with a passion for engineering, innovation and teamwork. Our team competes in national and international competitions, with a goal of designing, building and racing a single-seater race car.
About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the Mood Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the overall team atmosphere and promoting positive team culture. You will work with the other team leaders to ensure that all team members feel supported, motivated, and empowered to contribute to the success of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategies to foster a positive team culture
- Act as a liaison between team members and resolve conflicts as they arise
- Organize team-building activities and events
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and innovation
- Develop and maintain relationships with team sponsors and partners
- Attend team meetings and provide regular updates on the mood and morale of the team
- Act as a mentor and provide emotional support to team members when needed
- Ensure that all team members are adhering to team policies and regulations
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with team members
- Experience in managing teams, preferably in a volunteer or academic setting
- A positive and upbeat attitude, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Passion for motorsports and engineering
- Experience in a similar role in a Formula Student team is preferred but not required
