Generalist
ABOUT THE TEAM
The HR team’s main goal is to create the foundation of the HR processes which are utilised in the association. We are currently focusing on projects related to recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, as well as reconstructing the nomination processes for the management and leadership group of the upcoming year. Part of our work also consists of supporting the management group and team leaders in HR related questions, such as conflict management and leadership. In order for the knowledge exchange within the HR team to be as great as possible, we work closely together and support each other in the various HR processes. The HR team is one of the newer teams in the association and our goal is to expand.
Being part of the HR team will challenge and develop all the skills needed in HR related work, as well as improve your teamwork, creativity and strategic abilities.
ABOUT THE WORK AND RESPONSIBILITIES
This upcoming autum we are looking for new members of the HR team, specifically HR generalists.
Being part of the HR team means you get to work with all different kinds of HR related assignments. This year the team has mainly focused on creating an HR handbook, supporting management in HR issues, as well as planning and organising the nomination processes, recruitments and membership satisfaction surveys of the year. These are tasks which we will continue to work on during the upcoming year, as well as improving the offboarding process in order to keep as much competence and knowledge within the association as possible.
Provided that the basic HR functions are seen to and working well, members of the team have the opportunity to plan and work on a HR related project that interests them, granted that the HR Manager deems the project beneficial for the association. Earlier the HR team has been working on an inclusion project as well as creating an onboarding program, but members of the team have a great opportunity to influence their own work and assignments. The estimated workload per week is 5-8 hours, but depending on the time of year and which projects the members initiate themselves the workload and time needed can vary quite a lot. The 5-8 hours are distributed between two workshops on Monday and Wednesday evenings.
