About the team

The HR team is quite new and is today consisting of three HR Generalists, one HR Strategist, one Recruitment Specialist and one HR Manager. The HR team’s main goal is to create the foundation of the HR processes that are being used in the association. We are currently focusing on projects related to recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, employer branding and creating HR policies in the association. Since there are mostly engineers in LiU Formula Student, we are also focusing on educating the management group and team leaders in HR related issues such as recruitment and leadership. In order for there to be as large of an exchange of knowledge within the HR team as possible, we work closely together and support each other in the various HR processes.

About the role

The HR Team’s HR Generalists are working with different projects that we decide together. The projects are based on what the association needs in the short and long term. So far, our HR Generalists have been focusing on creating an onboarding program and supporting recruitment related activities. Our next projects will focus on our internal and external employer branding. In addition, there is room to undertake other projects in areas that you want to learn more about related to HR. As an HR generalist, you get to be involved and work in many different parts of what HR can offer. It will give you a good foundation in HR where you will be given an insight in many different HR processes. 

Competencies needed

  • You have an ongoing education in HR or equivalent, or an interest in learning more about HR related issues. 
  • It is meritorious if you have previously worked with/learned about recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, employer branding and/or worked in other HR processes.

The estimated workload per week is 4-8 hours. 

LiU Formula Student may be a car association and it is always fun to work with people who share the same interest. However, you are of course welcome to apply to our association regardless of whether you are interested in cars or not.
