About The Team

The LV electronics team is responsible for both the software and hardware systems for the data acquisition stemming from the various sensors on the vehicle. The subsystems include a digital dash screen, a system for logging the data with wireless streaming capabilities, and the wire harness to make it all possible.

About The Position

If you are interested in combining programming and motorsport the dashboard position is a perfect fit for you!

The dashboard is vital for providing information about the car to the driver. It consists of a raspberry pi connected to a screen, which can be controlled by buttons on the steering wheel. The tasks you will be working with is to finalize the design from the previous car which is almost done. You will also work with other teams and the drivers to determine what information should be visible.

You will be able to work closely with the people who designed the component originally since they are still a part of the organization.

For this position it is required to have experience in programming, preferably Python and C++. Previous experience with microcontrollers is not a necessity, but it is a good merit.
